Curcuma Emperor Var is a variegated ginger with long green leaves and white edges. The flowers come out pink fading to a creamy white. The plant usually grows to 3 to 5 feet tall in Kentucky each season. This plant has been much hardier than the other forms of gingers that we have grown. It has survived my the Kentucky, zone 6 winters for 7 years.
The plants offered are rooted in 4 1/2 inch pots
