Maranta arundinacea variegata often seen as a tropical indoor house plant and sometimes used as an tropical landscape plant. This ginger cousin is easy to grow and attractive. The paddle like leaves are held on top of 2 to 3 foot stems with streaks of yellow variegation. Flowers do form in cluster on mature plant but mainly grown for the foliage and over all look. Great for containers are warm garden. Hardy zone 9 and up.
