Colocasia Mammoth some times refered to as the common elephant ear. This large plant can grow 6 to 8 feet tall with leaves 2 to 4 feet long and 2 to 3 feet wide. Easy to grow and easy to care for. Plants can over winter in zone 6 if heavily mulched most people will bring in the large tuber/bulbs in fall and store in a cool spot all winter. Mammoth rarely flowers large yellow hooded flowers. Very similar in size and habit to Jacks Giant but differs in bulb color and Jacks Giant will produce some runners.  The bulbs or tubers sold are 11 to 13 inches circumference or the around the size of a softball. It ordered later in the summer month plants will be shipped barerooted form of this size tubers.  Photo of tuber size shown.
