Poncirus trifoliata ‘Flying Dragon’ (Hardy Orange Tree) is a hardy orange tree to shrub. Poncirus trifoliata grows between 6 to 8 feet tall with small leaves and green stems that are twisted with thorns. As it mature it produces half dollar size small orange like fruit. These fruit can be eaten or made into a drink. Most people do not eat the fruit due to the seeds but it does make for an interesting piece in the garden.
