Typhonium roxburghii is a small growing aroid with hastate green leaves that are 2 to 3 inches long and wide. The flower is quite large for this plant,  6 inches tall and a dark red to maroon color. The flower has an odd smell with open. Plants grow in clump but will eventually make a large cluster from small tubers. It is also quite hardy over wintering in zone 6 if partially protected.
