Alocasia portei (Malaysian Monster) is a large growing species that has some of the most dramatic foliage in the Alocasia family. The pinnate leaves are 2 to 3 feet long and 2 to 3 feet wide. These large segmented leaves give a very tropical feel. The petioles are dark brown and streaked. Plants can grow from 4 feet to over 10 feet tall in idea conditions.
